MEMPHIS, TN – Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is pleased to announce Isaac Sires (Oklahoma, Beta Omicron ’19) as the August 2021 Pike of the Month. Pike of the Month award recipients demonstrate the True Pike ideals, working to improve themselves and having a positive impact on their chapters, campuses, and communities.

Sires, a senior at the University of Oklahoma, was nominated for demonstrating superior leadership in his chapter, on campus, and in the community.

Sires has served the campus community as Homecoming director, an orientation guide, tour guide, and a member of student government. He was instrumental in the success of the university’s campus orientation program despite the challenges presented by COVID-19. He is the recipient of the university’s Campus Life Award, presented to upperclassmen that have excelled in scholarship, character, leadership, and service.

Within Beta Omicron Chapter, Sires has served as president, external vice president, and scholarship chairman. During his time as chapter president, the chapter raised $30,000 for various philanthropic efforts. He also oversaw the installation and fundraising behind the chapter’s new basketball court project. As scholarship chairman, Sires created the chapter’s study program and led his brothers to the third highest GPA of all fraternities on campus.

Sires has maintained a presence on both the Dean’s and President’s honor rolls. He has previously worked as a congressional intern to oversee fundraising and casework efforts.

Sires will graduate with a degree finance. Following graduation, he plans to pursue law school.
