WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS
This policy covers how The Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity, Inc., Oak Service Corporation, and affiliated entities (“Pi Kappa Alpha” hereafter) treat personal information collected and received on Pikes.org. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Pi Kappa Alpha does not control or to people that Pi Kappa Alpha does not employ or manage.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Pi Kappa Alpha may combine information about you with information obtained from business partners or other companies. Pi Kappa Alpha automatically receives and records information on server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you request. Pi Kappa Alpha may use the information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your registration requests, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

We want to process as little personal information as possible when you use Pikes.org. That’s why we’ve chosen Fathom Analytics for our website analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and complies with the GDPR, ePrivacy (including PECR), COPPA, and CCPA. Using this privacy-friendly website analytics software, your IP address is only briefly processed, and we (running this website) have no way of identifying you. The purpose of us using this software is to understand our website traffic in the most privacy-friendly way possible so that we can continually improve our website and business. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Pi Kappa Alpha’s cookies. Pi Kappa Alpha does not use web beacons to access pikes.org cookies inside and outside our network of websites.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to Pi Kappa Alpha, such as administrative messages and newsletters.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to contact with that information to provide products or services to you or do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information about you. Pi Kappa Alpha may update this policy.
