MEMPHIS, TN – Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is pleased to announce Jack Roberts (Texas, Beta Mu ’18) as the March 2022 Pike of the Month. Pike of the Month award recipients demonstrate the True Pike ideals, working to improve themselves and having a positive impact on their chapters, campuses, and communities.

Roberts, a senior at University of Texas, was nominated for his leadership within the chapter, his work ethic, and his community involvement.

Roberts has served Beta Mu Chapter as sergeant at arms and social chairman. During his time as a chapter leader, Roberts was stabilizing force in academics, health and safety and strengthening brotherhood during the challenges of the pandemic. Jack has attended the Fraternities educational PIKE University summits and is an active participant in PIKE intramural teams.

Outside of the Fraternity, Roberts embodies the values of Pi Kappa Alpha. He is a member of the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and is receiving military training to commission as an active-duty officer in the US Navy. Roberts was ranked second in his ROTC graduating class of 2020. Additionally, Roberts is an active member of the University of Texas community. He volunteers with Texas athletics, helping UT programs as a ball boy.

Roberts is pursuing a degree in architectural engineering, holding a 3.65 GPA. Following his graduation in May, will be commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy and has been accepted into its Naval Aviation program. Jack will begin basic flight school later this year in Pensacola, FL.
