Darsham Gonzalez (Florida Atlantic, Lambda Beta ’25) is the April 2026 Pike of the Month.Gonzalez serves as student body president and university trustee, governing over 31,000 students at Florida Atlantic University. In his role, Gonzalez oversees an almost two billion dollar budget in university operations, creates and innovates programs for students, and votes for effective university solutions on behalf of the student body. Previously, he served as deputy chief financial officer for student government, assessing and allocating the budget for university programming.
Lambda Beta Chapter has been influential in his campaign for student body president from the beginning. Gonzalez credits his Pi Kappa Alpha brothers for their role in helping him campaign during the election, as well as the members who serve in his cabinet.
“Being a member of Pi Kappa Alpha has been one of the best experiences of my life. Our work on campus has been impactful in the community, and I’m extremely proud of the efforts my brothers and I have put in to give back consistently,” he shares. “Being in this Fraternity changed my college experience, and I can’t imagine the person I would’ve become without it this last year.”
Gonzalez is studying political science and biology. He is an active member of the Leon Charney Diplomacy Program and the National Honor Society. He recently represented Pi Kappa Alpha with the Federal Government Relations Coalition (FGRC) to advocate for the Freedom of Association in Higher Education Act.
