Victor Haines (Virginia Tech, Epsilon ’25) is the September 2026 Pike of the Month.

Brother Haines recently won the university’s Michael “Mikey” Cunningham Emerging Fraternity Leader of the Year award. This award honors Michael “Mikey” Cunningham ’19, a remarkable Pike and young leader whose charisma, determination, and kindness made him beloved by everyone who knew him. Mikey was tragically killed by a reckless driver on May 31, 2020. In honor of Mikey, this award recognizes a fraternity member who is an exceptionally emerging leader in their organization. The recipient of this award demonstrates strong leadership skills and is engaged in advancing the organization.

As Epsilon Chapter’s new member educator, Haines guided the chapter to achieving the highest new member GPA in the IFC community. He also serves as the chapter’s house supervisor, and on both the social and recruitment committees. Haines is pursuing a degree in criminology.

“My roles in PIKE have taught me how to be a stronger leader,” Haines says. “And with the support of my brothers, they make me feel like nothing is too much for me.”
