Rishi Gabbita Recognized as Pike of the Month

Rishi GabbitaRishi Gabbita (Cincinnati, Alpha Xi ’21) is the April 2025 Pike of the Month. Within the chapter, Gabbita has been influential in the shaping of Alpha Xi culture and success. As the vice president of alumni engagement, he created a successful business proposal and fundraising plan for the $4.5 million housing expansion project. He improved alumni engagement by organizing additional alumni events throughout the academic year and boosting communication frequency from the chapter. He also served as chapter secretary, streamlining the communications efforts and management of the chapter.

As a respected member of the campus community, Gabbita’s impact is felt beyond Alpha Xi Chapter. After a term as IFC vice president of conduct, he went on to serve as president. He spearheaded a bylaws overhaul for the Council, as well as organizing an incentive plan for fraternities on campus to be rewarded for their excellence in scholarship, membership, and community impact. Gabbita currently serves as a peer leader for the university’s Learning Commons, mentoring freshmen students as they enter the campus community, and as the vice president of special events for the Student Alumni Council, which organizes campus events like Homecoming. As the sponsorship chairman for Remote Area Medical, he raised $32,000 for the first free clinic in the Cincinnati area, providing essential healthcare services to the community.

Gabbita currently works as a data analyst at AMEND Consulting, developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards for clients in the manufacturing and retail sector. He has contributed to clinical research with the university’s sports medicine department to identify concussive hits in football.

Following graduation, Gabbita will be attending medical school with hopes of pursuing anesthesiology.
