Isaac Durby Recognized as Pike of the Month

Isaac DurbyIsaac Durby (Tennessee-Chattanooga, Delta Epsilon ’25) is the July 2025 Pike of the Month. On campus, he serves as the student representative on the UTC Advisory Board, serving as the student voice for over 12,000 of his peers. Additionally, he is an ROTC cadet, commanding both color guard and recruitment. He recently completed the Ranger Challenge, where he serves as the tactics commander, and the Norwegian Foot March.

Durby is the treasurer of the College Republicans, an organization he helped build on campus. He also serves as the chair of Government and External Affairs (GEXA) in the university’s student government association.

Within the chapter, he has served as academic chair. Off campus, Durby recently completed a summer internship with Senator Bill Hagerty. He is involved with his church’s student ministry and is currently training to compete his second marathon. As a lover of travel, Durby has visited 14 countries and completed two study abroad trips.

“No matter what I do on campus or in my community, one of my brothers is by my side,” Durby says of his PIKE experience. “Whether that’s serving the country, sitting next to me at church, or helping me make the UTC campus better, I always have a brother to lean on.”
