The Digital Archive was created in an effort to modernize the Pi Kappa Alpha archive by digitizing portions of the collections and making them accessible online. Through this project, documents, images, reports, and programs currently stored at the Pi Kappa Alpha Memorial Headquarters are being digitized and made searchable online through a cutting-edge digital history software. The materials currently available on the Digital Archive are just a sample of those stored in the archive and the amount of material available digitally will grow over time as this project continues. Revisit the site to see what new items have been added and explore new facets of Pi Kappa Alpha history.
Historical Society
In preparation for the 2018 International Convention in Richmond, VA, members of the PIKE Foundation created a group to help foster Fraternity history called the Heritage Committee. From that, the Historical Society was born. Its mission is to preserve and protect the history and artifacts of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity including the Memorial Headquarters, Archives, Harvey T. Newell Library, and the Freeman H. Hart Museum.
How To Support
As a non-profit entity of the Foundation, the Historical Society operates through the thoughtful contributions of our undergraduate members, our alumni, and faithful friends of the Fraternity.

Shield & Diamond Magazine
The rich history of Pi Kappa Alpha has been documented within the pages of the Shield & Diamond and its predecessor, The Pi Kappa Alpha Journal since 1890. This archive contemporaneously documents the history of the Fraternity, incorporating the state of student life and culture on North American campuses where Pi Kappa Alpha has been represented.
