Daniel Walker Recognized as Pike of the Month

Daniel WalkerDaniel Walker (East Carolina, Epsilon Mu ’24) is the March 2025 Pike of the Month. Following his recent election as Student Body President, Walker will serve as the voice of the student population and advocate for the continuous improvement of the experience at East Carolina University. Walker was instrumental to the success of Epsilon Mu Chapter’s return to campus, working tirelessly to enhance PIKE’s reputation and standing on campus and within the Greenville community.

Prior to his presidency, Walker served as Director of University Affairs within the Student Government Association. He is a proud Brinkley-Lane Scholar, the university’s most prestigious award program offered to students who display outstanding academic performance, commitment to community engagement, and strong leadership skills. He serves as Community Engagement Chair for the Scholars Roundtable.

His nominator shared a brief statement about Walker’s impact on Epsilon Mu Chapter:

“Daniel is truly the reason that Epsilon Mu has seen success. He has launched PIKE’s name back into the spotlight on campus. His SGA President win is a huge success for him, but also us. When I think of a Pike, I think about Daniel Walker.”

After graduation, Walker hopes to pursue a career in hospital administration.
