MEMPHIS, TN – Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is pleased to announce Charles Berry (Texas A&M-Commerce, Theta Xi ‘19) as the June 2022 Pike of the Month. Pike of the Month award recipients demonstrate the True Pike ideals, working to improve themselves and having a positive impact on their chapters, campuses, and communities.

Berry, a rising senior at Texas A&M-Commerce, was nominated for his leadership within the chapter, his commitment to his brothers, and his community service.

Berry has served Theta Xi Chapter as president, external vice president, and health and safety officer. During his time as chapter leader, Berry was instrumental in the organizing and executing philanthropy events with the North Texas Food Bank, which yielded over $20,000 in donations and provided 61,000 meals over two years. Berry was awarded the Theta Xi Leader of the Year Award by his peers.

Berry is pursuing a degree in business management, maintaining a presence on the President’s List with a 4.0 GPA. He is currently serving as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and has been in the Marine Corps for over 5 years.
